Electrical Work for Every Sector
Lightning Protection & Earthing Systems
Design, installation and testing of lightning protection and earthing systems to keep buildings and equipment safe.
Find Out More →A Lightning Protection System (LPS) is designed to protect a structure or building and contents from damage caused by the intensely high voltage currents of a lightning strike (often exceeding a 1,000,000,000 Volt Amps). Lightning protection systems act like a Faraday Cage for buildings, protecting the building and its contents from external electric fields by migrating that energy around the cage instead of through its contents. A lightning protection system offers a lightning strike a low resistance path to ground where the enormous energy is then safely dispersed. A typical lightning protection system includes lightning rods, metal conductors and ground electrodes designed to offer a low resistance path to ground and to take any high voltage currents from a lightning strike away from the structure of the building.
NSE (Wales) LTD can offer an installation, maintenance and annual testing of lightning protection systems to BS EN 62305. The recommended test frequency for lightning protection is every 11 months.
Emergency Lighting
Installation and testing of emergency lighting to keep escape routes lit when it matters most.
Find Out More →NSE (Wales) LTD can supply and install standalone or combined emergency lighting systems such as self testing or manual testing, LED or fluorescent luminaries to BS 5266.
The main advantage of having an emergency lighting installation at your premises is that you will never be without lighting. By installing emergency lighting your business is not having to lose valued working time or money by dealing with lighting issues. Also from a health and safety point of view, if an incident does occur it is crucial that it is as easy as possible for the occupants to make their way out quickly and safely through the designated escape routes.

We also offer breakdown cover for the entire electrical installation but with an efficient planned and preventive maintenance schedule in place this would drastically reduce the chances of breakdowns occurring, thus saving you time and cost.

PAT testing (portable appliance testing) is the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. This service is essential for landlords or business owners. The Government has put regulations into place that pertain to the maintenance of electrical appliances, and the most effective way to ensure that these regulations are met is through PAT testing. Solar PV & EV Charging
Solar PV installations and EV charge point installs for homes and businesses.
Find Out More →Solar PV
Solar PV basically senses when your solar panels are charging, and diverts the electricity generated to either your water tank (immersion heater) or your car charging unit. This system is now becoming very popular to help properties reduce the demand on the National Grid and also to reduce utility bills.
With the reduction in the feed-in tariff, it is now becoming more beneficial to use the additional energy produced.
EV Charging
We are now providing this new service to Mid and South Wales. The installation of EV chargers for domestic and commercial properties is now becoming popular and affordable. We are able to supply and install the latest EV charging solutions to help you on your eco friendly journey. Please contact us for more information.
We have recently become approved installers for EV car charging units. With the increasing demand for the use of renewable energy and being environmentally friendly, we are proud to be able to provide this service.
Alongside this we are now also offering Solar Diverter modules. This system uses PV generation to heat hot water, charge EVs and charge storage batteries.
